The guy claims in his book that half and more of the marketing budget spent on online ads can be considered wasted due to pervasive and invincible ad fraud. Would be interesting to know how (and if) companies assess the effectiveness of such spending: Online travel giant Booking Holdings spent upwards of $1 billion on Google ads in the past quarter, according to its earnings report and analyst estimates.
